I mentioned this at Camp Winnebago, thought I'd follow through with the info.
Dario Fo, Nobel prize winner, genius clown, and the guy I'd most like to be when I grow up is coming to the American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge MA.
I took a workshop with him in Copenhagen in1996 and in 1997 he won the Nobel Prize (Hey, I'm not saying there's a connection-- I leave that for others! :o) )
This is a very rare opportunity to see him perform in the United States. Don't miss it!
There are three shows:
JOHAN PADAN, written by Dario Fo, performed by Thomas Derrah, directed and translated by Ron Jenkins Sept. 6-16.
MISTERO BUFFO performed and written by Dario Fo Sept. 21-29 (in rep) SEX? THANKS, DON'T MIND IF I DO! performed and written by Franca Rame Sept 21-29 (in rep)
