Committed to the creation of original work by artists of all cultures, founders Idris Ackamoor and Rhodessa Jones have developed over a dozen original productions that demonstrate their vision of "Art as Social Activism." In an evening of "edutainment" Cultural Odyssey will present The Medea Project: Theater for Incarcerated Women; work created to explore whether an arts-based approach could help reduce the number of women returning to jail.
