NET designed NET/TEN to create new opportunities for reciprocal exchanges with peers and colleagues. These guidelines introduce the resulting 2012-2013 pilot round of the NET/TEN grant program, which is supported by lead funding from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation.

The purpose of the NET Touring & Exchange Network (NET/TEN) grant program is to share techniques, inspiration, expertise, and performances among ensembles in the United States, in order to strengthen the work of individual ensembles and the field as a whole.
